The Medallion II is built such that each panel is fitted
into dadoed grooves in the side panels. This is a superior form of cabinet design
providing excellent stability and superior sonics.

| No screws are required for assembly - only glue. Though
perfectly dadoed grooves require some extra work at the factory, it actually makes
assembling the kit even easier. Each piece fits perfectly snugly into a side groove. There's no chance of mistaken angles or misplaced boards. |

Assembling the kit is easy. It requires no previous woodworking experience. Few tools are needed to assemble the Medallion II: a band clamp, several bar clamps, wood glue, and some sandpaper. You do not need a woodworking shop or a saw - that's all done for you. Including allowing time for glue to dry, the speakers can be built as a weekend project.
